Upper: Vastly improved over previous Revels. The fit in the forefoot is much more precise without being overly narrow. The tongue is semi-gusseted and excellently padded against lace pressure. Laces can be tucked in to keep them out of your bike chain. Subjectively I think they look great. My only complaint is I experienced significant heel slippage. Heel lockdown is not as good as the Adrenaline or Glycerin and the stock laces are a bit short for a runner's knot.
Midsole: Slightly firm. There is just enough cushion for real running, and the low stack height and precise fit means they work great for sports that require more stability and "touch" as well. I would prefer these for racket sports over a dedicated tennis shoe. True long-distance runners will need more cushion. Colorways with the gradient effect look great but do show wear quickly.
Outsole: Ideal for paced surfaces. The micro-lug pattern is simple and effective. Full outsole coverage is crucial for sports like skating that will shred foam-bottomed shoes. I wish the rubber compound was a bit softer - durability was prioritized over maximum grip, especially in the wet.
