How can I wash/clean these sneakers?

We recommend avoiding washing machines and (especially) dryers, but you can hand wash your shoes. Here are some tips as well as a link to an article that goes in greater depth: 1. Brush the bottom of your shoes to remove as much mud and dirt as possible. 2. Remove the shoelaces. 3. Gently use a damp cloth or brush to clean the uppers. 4. Rinse with warm water. 5. Remove the insoles and clean and dry them separately. 6. Stuff your shoes with newspaper. This helps them maintain shape and decreases drying time. What is the difference in the Glycerin StealthFit GTS 20 versus the Glycerin StealthFit 20?

Hi Linda! There are four versions of the Glycerin 20, as there is a choice between Classic and StealthFit and a choice between Neutral or GTS. The Classic and StealthFit versions will refer to how the upper material fits. The StealthFit will have more of a socklike feel with less adjustability in the lacing, while the Classic is more of that traditional athletic shoe fit. Neutral and GTS refer to the support in the shoe. The GTS version has our GuideRail support system, which is intended to help support runners who overpronate (feet/ankles roll inward). We recommend the neutral model if you do not overpronate.

Hi AshLee! The Glycerin StealthFit GTS 20 is not a non-slip shoe. Our only slip-resistant models are the Addiction Walker 2, Addiction Walker V-Strap 2, and Addiction Walker Suede, each of which has an outsole that has been certified (SATRA TM144:2011) for slip resistance. Please note this slip resistance certification is not OSHA-certified.

I wear a size 9 in the Ghost 14. Do you recommend the same size in this shoe?

I wear a size 8 and I do have wide feet. Should I size up?

Hi Annesta! We recommend that you stick with the size you normally wear in running shoes. It may be best to size up a half to full size from the size you wear in casual shoes. Hi, I get a size 10 in the adrenaline gts. Would you recommend the same size or a 10.5 in the glycerin stealthfit?

Hi Amanda! The Glycerin StealthFit GTS 20 will run very similar to the Adrenaline GTS 22. The StealthFit version is intended to fit a little more snug and socklike. You will probably do best with a size 10, but if you like a roomy toe box, a 10.5 may work a little better. We have a phenomenal return policy which allows you to try our gear out for your normal runs and walks, inside or outside. If they do not work, we offer free pre-paid return labels on orders to send them back within 90 days for worn items, and 1 year for unworn items. Even if you get them dirty or lose the box we can still take them back with our free labels via FedEx or USPS for a full refund.

Do I need to tie these or do they slip on?

Hi Robin! The Glycerin StealthFit GTS 20 comes with laces that will need to be tied. We recommend always untying and loosening your laces when taking off and putting on your shoes so as not to create excessive friction against the soft shoe lining.

Can I wash these? Was on a trip in Peru and these are now a dusty red color.

Hi Jessica! We recommend removing the internal liner and hand washing the shoes in warm water with mild soap. Make sure not to submerge or soak the shoes in water. We do not recommend using a washer or dryer machine for cleaning our shoes, as they can be too aggressive and cause the shoes to stretch or warp compromising the materials and performance of the shoe.

Hi Sarah! The Glycerin StealthFit GTS 20 are not certified nonslip, but they're designed to handle road-like surfaces.

I usually wear a 7.5 wide, should I size up?

Hi Denise! If you need a size 7.5 Wide, we recommend a size 8 in the Glycerin StealthFit GTS 20 or we recommend a size 7.5 Wide in the classic Glycerin GTS 20.
