What's is your best women's support shoe for plantar fasciitis?

I wear 8.5 2A. I like my Adrenaline GTS22 shoes very much. I'm wondering whether to stick with the Adrenaline and order GTS23 or to try the Ghost 15. I wear custom orthotics so I'd need room for those. Which shoe would you advise?

Hi Deb. The Adrenaline GTS 23 and Ghost 16 should fit similar to one another. If you feel comfortable wearing the Adrenaline GTS 23 shoes I would recommend sticking with that style.

Adrenaline GTS 23- description says updated with lighter cushioning. Does mean some of the cush has been removed?

Hi Barbara, The weight of the cushion is lighter, but the cushioning amount is still the same cushion you know and love in the Adrenaline!

Are these shoes washable ?

Hi Fern. We recommend avoiding washing machines and (especially) dryers, but you can hand wash your shoes. Here are some tips as well as a link to an article that goes in greater depth: 1. Brush the bottom of your shoes to remove as much mud and dirt as possible. 2. Remove the shoelaces. 3. Gently use a damp cloth or brush to clean the uppers. 4. Rinse with warm water. 5. Remove the insoles and clean and dry them separately. 6. Stuff your shoes with newspaper. This helps them maintain shape and decreases drying time. can I wear custom orthotics in this shoe?

Hi Linda. Our insoles are removeable allowing space for custom orthotics. You will always want approx. 1/2 in. of space (a thumbs width) between the end of your big toe and the end of the shoe. This often means sizing up your running shoes 1/2 of a size from what your normal size. Orthotics can take up additional space within the shoe depending on what it is designed for.

What would be a good replacement for Brooks Transcend? I have knee issues and need something for walking.

Hi Karen! The most comparable model to the Transcend is the Glycerin GTS 20, although the Adrenaline GTS 23 would be another great option.

Does brooks have any non skid shoes ?

Brooks does have the Addiction Walker 2, which is SATRA TM144:2011 certified for slip resistance.

Which designs come in extra wide?

I typically order 1 size up for running sneakers. If I order these in wide, should I still go up 1 size?

Hi I was wondering if the color blue/open air/pink is more of a darker blue as pictured online or if it is different/lighter in color in person?

Hi Francesca! The Adrenaline GTS 23 in colorway 493 - Blue/Open Air/Pink will be fairly light blue in color.

The cut out for the ankle is higher on the adrenaline gts 22 than the 20, why? The 20 fits perfectly, now they rub.

Do the shoes squeak? I have had adrenalines before and seems to happen with each model?

Hi Katie! You should not be experiencing squeaking with the Adrenaline GTS 23 or any of our other models. Squeaking can indicate that there is moisture trapped between the insole and midsole of the shoe. We recommend removing the insole and letting the shoes dry. If the squeaking persists, you can use baby powder or a dryer sheet to help as well!

Can I preorder? I would like an Adrenaline Gts, crystal gray, villa, white in 10 wide. The wide sizes sell quickly.
