Hi Laura. The Ghost Max is designed with a GlideRoll Rocker to actively promote smooth heel-to-toe transitions.

How much difference in length between women’s size 8.5 and 9?

Hey Teresa, Generally, there is about a quarter of an inch between half sizes.

Are these non slip shoes?

Hi Kristy. Our only slip-resistant models are the Addiction Walker 2, Addiction Walker V-Strap 2, and Addiction Walker Suede, each of which has an outsole that has been certified (SATRA TM144:2011) for slip resistance. Please note this slip resistance certification is not OSHA-certified.

I wear 5-1/2 in the Womens Adrenaline. I really need a comfortable shoe and was going to buy the Ghost. Sadly, you don't make it in 5-1/2 and from the reviews is appears that size 6 would be way too big. Do you plan to make a 5-1/2?

Hi Lydia. Because this is a new shoe for us, we chose to limit the size run. Hopefully, we'll be able to add more sizes in future versions of this new favorite. Stay tuned for the Ghost Max 2 later next year!

I'm looking for a good shoe for work I stand on my feet alot want to know if this shoe is right or if you can recommend one?

Hi Nicole. Our shoes are designed with the run in mind, but they can work great for many activities! For long periods of standing, we recommend an option with a lot of cushion. The Ghost Max is a great option to try, along with shoes like the Glycerin 20 or Glycerin GTS 20. Neutral and GTS refer to the support in the shoe. The GTS version has our GuideRail support system, which is intended to help support runners who overpronate (feet/ankles roll inward). We recommend the neutral model if you do not overpronate.

I wear a half size larger in Ghost than my normal shoes (8-1/2 M v 8 M). It looks like Ghost Max shoes run larger. Will I still need to buy up a half size?

Hi Betty. The sizing should be similar. We recommend staying with the same size you wear in the Ghost. Feel free to take advantage of the Run Happy Promise if the sizing does not work out.

I get 11.5 in Ghosts. Will I need to wait on that size or will 12 fit?

Hi Debbie. Unfortunately, the Ghost Max will not be available in size 11.5. Because this is a new shoe for us, we chose to limit the size run. We recommend trying a size 12 to see how it feels. Hopefully, we'll be able to add more sizes in future versions of this new favorite.

I wear size 13. Does the Ghost Max come in 13?

Hi Candi. The heel platform height is 28mm. The toe box height is 22mm for a total heel-to-toe drop of 6mm.

Does the ghost max have a wide toe box to use metatarsal inserts?

Hi Kelly. The Ghost Max features a unique linear last construction which makes fit inclusive of foot shapes and orthotics.

Is ghost max a tie yourself shoe?

Hi Marsha. Yes, the lacing system in the Ghost Max requires you to tie them yourself.

Are they waterproof ?

Hi Rebecca. The Ghost Max is not a waterproofed shoe. Sometimes applying a waterproof treatment can keep your feet dryer for a little bit, but will require a reapplication after time.
