I tried various other shoes with a low drop and/or a thin sole, but nothing compares. :(
I love this shoe.
If you don’t have calf issues I think this is fine fora short run 3-6 miles. I use this fir shorter runs and gym workouts. I think it is fine for a gravel path. If it is a more technical trail try the pure grit
If you're transitioning from the Launch to the PureFlow we suggest sticking to the same size that you normally wear in our shoes. For first time Brooks runners, we recommend ordering Brooks running shoes 1/2 size to one size larger than what you wear in casual or dress shoes. Whenever possible, visit your local running and walking footwear store for a proper fitting. Also, our Shoe Finder, can help you find the right shoe. Simply answer a few simple questions and we'll introduce you to your solemate.

The PureFlow 7 is a connect style which is designed to give you a trasparent yet cushioned and resposnive ride. It is definitely not a bulky look and we encourage you to give it try if you're going for low profile!
While all of our shoes are designed for the intended purpose of road running they can certainly make for excellent shoes for a variety of activities. We would like to note, performance running shoes are designed for forward motion activities though lateral movement activities like weight lifting can require, may have a different effect on the expected lifespan and durability.
The last of the shoe is made up of BioMoGo DNA and a DNA midsole using various air and foam processes. The general life expectancy of performance running shoes is 300-500 miles, or 4-6 months and we rigorously test them to ensure they live up to those standards. Replacing your shoes within this cadence ensures that you are getting the kind of performance our shoes are designed for.
Absolutely! I wear these from treadmill to weight floor at my gym no problem. So comfortable for any activity.
Fabulous walking shoe that does not feel bulky - lightweight with good support and fashionable to boot! Never consider yourself older just more experienced and wiser. Keep up the activity!
