How far up the tongue is the gusset sewed to the sides of the shoe?

Hi Donald! The Cascadia 16 GTX features a gusseted tongue. Approximately 60% of the tongue is gusseted, but this can vary with size.

Are the Cascadia GTX 16/16 good for low arches and overpronators? I usually wear Brooks with GTS.

Hi Deison! The Cascadia 16, including the GTX, is considered a neutral shoe, however, it will be the most stable of our trail shoes and therefore best for overpronators. When you're on the roads, the GuideRails support system delivers a consistent level of support with each stride. But when you're on the trails, your foot is landing differently each time with the varied terrain. Therefore, we do not currently offer any GTS shoes within our trail lineup, as that type of support can end up overcorrecting your gait and causing more harm than good! The Cascadia will be your best match in our trail lineup.

Why is this not offered in Womens?

After foot surgery, I bought a couple of Adrenalines GTS as they have some arch support. Great!. Does the Cascadia GTX 16 provide arch support?

Hi Pierre! The footbed and insoles of all of our shoes, including the Cascadia 16 GTX, have the same arch height and arch support. Our shoe styles in our inventory are split into 2 sections, Neutral and Support. The support in running shoes is different than the support of insoles or orthotics. Our Support styles include our GuideRails technology, which supports your whole body in its natural stride while keeping excess movement in check. Insoles or orthotics give you support directly under the arch. Our sock-liners are removable so that you can input your own insole or orthotic to achieve personalized arch support.

I currently have mens Ghost 14 size 9.5 width 4E. I want Cascadia GTX in the same size and width. Is that availabile?

Hi Manuel! The Cascadia 16 GTX is currently only available in a medium (D) width.

Does this shoe come in the Sasquatch (Nooksack Tribe) style?

The Cascadia 16 GTX is limited to this specific colorway.
