Typically I am a size medium (32-33) with all Brooks pants/shorts apparel. I tried a size medium and the pant was too snug which I returned. I ordered size large and these were way to large around my waist.
Also, in both cases I would have preferred a full length elastic waist band.

A Very Good, Minimalist Outer Shell
When I purchased these pants, I hoped they would be general purpose pants, suitable for all situations. They aren’t. But, it wasn’t realistic to expect that they would be.
They are a good, minimalist outer shell, suitable for layering in cold, wet weather. They are very light and flexible, but also don’t have any pockets. The instructions say to keep them out of the clothes dryer and line dry instead.
I tried running in these pants when it was 50 degrees and rainy outside. They didn’t breathe very well in those conditions, and my legs ended up drenched with sweat. But, when walking in the same weather, with regular running pants underneath, they work great.
I believe they also will work well when running in cooler, wet weather, in the range of 35 degrees and below.

Nice and comfy
Not worn them running yet but needed them at the end of a soggy 50km race. Kept me warm and dry whilst waiting for my wife to finish her race. Very comfortable. Will be good to run in when the weather gets cold.

Extra space
I love these pants. They are a perfect fit while also giving extra room in my backside. I don’t feel like they are trying to ride me while doing my workout. The rain protection is great but it also helps keep me warmer during my early morning workouts. I would recommend this pair to anyone looking to stay comfortable while going through their workout process. They also fit in a way that doesn’t make me feel awkward sitting in a coffee shop during my cool down.

Received wrong size
I have only given these pants a 1 star because although says size medium, I received a size XS. I can’t actually even fit into the pants so just reviewing the look and feel which seem decent.
The pants have the typical wind breaker look/feel and sound to them which is expected. Pockets and practicality they seem like they could be great pants but without being able to try them on and test them out I have no way to give a full review.

Waterproof but Feels like a Leg Sauna
These waterproof running pants work as stated but, if you’re just a sweaty fella like me, your legs will experience a running sauna while withstanding the rainy weather. The pants are completely sealed at the seams which is great especially if you’re backpacking. The sizing is true to size, I’m 36” W, 32” L and the Large fit perfectly. I normally wear Brooks to run so the pants were a nice matchy touch. The pants don’t include side pockets but there’s one spacious back pocket that can fit a basic wallet. I put an AirTag box to give a reference to the size. The ankle zipper is quite generous given it opens up near the knee.

Good Running pants
I loved the feel of the pants. They are soft, smooth, and stretchy. Comfortable to run in. I only run a couple miles at a time though, I don't do real long distances. There is a pocket on the inside of the pant that you could roll the pant into if you needed to pack them away. I thought that was a neat feature. I also liked the zippers on the legs, they seemed longer, so they are easier for me to get them on and off over my shoes if I need to. They fir true to size for me. Overall, I really like the waterproof running pants.

Avid runner loving expanded options for cold wet runs!
I am an avid runner and have my go-tos that I trust for my training runs. I’ve run my fair share through rain and cold as I’ve trained for marathons and halfs and I was pleasantly surprised to grab the M High Point Waterproof pant more and more frequently for those cold wet runs. They fit well, keep me dry and I would recommend to my fellow runners!

Lightweight, comfortable, and great fit!
The M High Point Waterproof pant are very comfortable, with a smooth and soothing feel. They are lightweight and feel great for activity. I am happy with how breathable and relaxed these pants are while also being waterproof material. The size fits is as expected and I like the elastic cuffs at the ankle to taper the fit. The waist has a drawstring which makes it easy to adjust.
