CHIEF RUNNING ADVISOR

Des grabs a new title

Des Linden's approach to running is relatable and real, making her an inspiration to runners of all levels. That's why we're proud to name her our new Chief Running Advisor.

In this role, she'll become an integral part of the ideation process as Brooks pushes the boundaries in technology and innovation, particularly in our BlueLine Lab. She'll also sit on the inspiring Coaches Program Panel and work to engage run crews as our brand ambassador.

As always, Des will be an advocate for all runners and continue to encourage everyone to keep showing up.

Yes, you can dress like the pros. Here are a few of Des' favorite pieces for when the weather gets rough.

Lightning Round

What gets you out the door on tough days?

I think about my goals. The only way to get there is to put in the work - no excuses.

How did you start running?

It was a soccer survival tactic.

What makes your journey special?

I am the tortoise. My career path started much closer to the everyday runner. I have chipped away year after year and eventually reached the upper echelons of running through consistency, hard work, and patience.

"The run is a chance to clear my mind, work through problems, be creative, think about everything or think about nothing. I need the run to get in the right head space for my day."

In her own words

Like dogs? Love music? Des' social media is filled with both, making us happy on a daily basis.
