Es ist zwar ein Schuh für Tempoläufe / schnelle Läufe, aber ich habe für mich einen Schuh gesucht für längere Läufe (für Distanzen von 20-30 km), der leicht vom Gewicht & dynamisch ist, aber dennoch eine gute Dämpfung hat.
Da mir der Glycerin Max persönlich doch etwas zu schwer ist ab einer gewissen Distanz, habe ich mir daher den Hyperion Max 2 bestellt.
Der Komfort beim Reinschlupfen & Laufen ist wie immer einmalig & so wie ich es von Brooks gewohnt bin. Die Dämpfung ist für mein Empfinden her hervorragend, das Gewicht des Schuhs ist deutlich leichter, als das was ich bisher gewohnt war & die Dynamik des Schuhs ist top.
Man merkt sehr klar, dass dieser Schuh für Tempo ausgelegt ist, denn er treibt schon gut nach vorn. Aber dennoch sind mir langsame, längere Läufe (6-8er Pace & über 20 km Distanz) damit gut möglich, ohne dass sich der Schuh irgendwann wie ein Betonklotz unter den Füßen anfühlt.
& selbst wenn ich mal auf der Ferse aufkomme vermittelt er mir ein sicheres & doch recht stabiles Laufgefühl.
Die Passform empfinde ich ebenfalls top. Ich habe etwas breitere Füße & dennoch fühlt sich die Weite Medium B sehr passend an. Kein Drücken oder Zwicken irgendwo.
Er ist eigentlich ja ein reiner Straßenschuh, aber dennoch habe ich ihn auf unterschiedlichsten Untergründen gelaufen.
Auf groben Schotter läuft er sich eigentlich recht ordentlich für mein Empfinden.
Auf feinerem Schotter allerdings rutscht er beim Abstoßen des Fußes etwas nach hinten, was wiederum etwas Tempo rausnimmt & auch Kraft kostet auf Dauer. Auf nassem, glatteren Asphalt ist das ebenfalls der Fall.
Auf nassem aber gröberen Asphalt läuft er sich aber wieder recht gut.
Bei Feldwegen oder Waldboden wird es bei Nässe doch schon hier & da mal etwas rutschig.
Auf trockenem Boden läuft er sich aber recht stabil.
Wer das volle Potenzial des Schuhs nutzt & richtig Tempo ballert, dem empfehle ich persönlich den Schuh auf trockenen Asphalt zu nutzen. Da ist er dann einfach unschlagbar.
Ich habe für mich jedenfalls (endlich) mit dem Hyperion Max 2 den passenden Schuh gefunden.
Wenn ich Lust auf Tempo hätte, kann ich das mit dem Schuh tun, aber ich kann ihn eben auch für langsamere & dafür längere Läufe gut nutzen, ohne dass er mir zu schwer unter den Füßen wird. Für mich persönlich ist er also quasi die Eierlegende Wollmilchsau.
Ich werde mir sicherlich noch ein zweites Paar zulegen & freue mich aber auch schon auf den Hyperion Max 3.
