From base layer to everyday wear.
I'm a 6 foot male that weighs 200 lbs, and I love these long sleeve shirts. This isn't my first time ordering this particular long sleeve. They work great for cooler runs in the early fall or late spring. They aren't super thick and designed to keep you warm, rather keep you dry on runs by wicking away moisture. I also find them to be great to wear as a base layer under my warmer jackets during the winter time.
Will likely end up buying more in the future.

Great find! Love the simplicity of it and the thumb holes make it perfect on slightly chillier runs. I will say that it's maybe not the best for long sweaty runs as I started to experience a just little chafing despite having sport shield on.

A good choice
The fit and feel of the Brooks Distance Long Sleeve 3.0 t-shirt is amazing. I coach swimming and diving (inside) in MN during the winter. I often need to wear long sleeves under my coaching uniform. This shirt provided warmth and breathability very well. From the cold outside to hot and humid inside the pool, this shirt helped make each of those situations more comfortable without changing layers.
The design of the Brooks Distance Long Sleeve 3.0 t-shirt was also very nice. The thumb holes provided were a nice add to have under gloves to help keep my hands warm. Also a nice feature, when the thumb holes were not being used, they were hardly noticeable. The cut for the thumb holes seemed a little off which caused some pulling and stretching felt higher on my arms. If I was using this shirt for long distance running, this could become annoying. The 3 stacked "Brooks" logos on the chest were a bit indulgent and over the top. It would have been nice to see a logo, or just a single "Brooks" label placed in the same area.
As mentioned before, the fabric felt breathable and light, yet substantial enough to feel like it will last, while at the same time without being cumbersome. The overall quality felt like this could be a good shirt for a long period of time!
Overall this was a nice shirt that I have used several times in a short timeframe. It provided warmth when it was cold, but also was breathable when it was hot and humid on the pool deck. This shirt was very versatile for me.
I would change two things about this shirt. First, the thumb hole placement. I tried a few different times to pull and move the fabric for a better fit. Each attempt resulted in the shirt pulling in a different area. Secondly, a more sublet logo would have been nice, but not a deal breaker.

Great Quality and Fit
Got this shirt for my husband to try out for his workouts and just starting up with running. He loves it! The fabric is so soft and doesn’t feel gross when he gets sweaty. Fits well and is comfortable when working out and running.

Great quality
Really like this shirt, and the material feels great. As a casual runner who doesn’t invest in a lot of high-end gear, this is definitely now among my favorite pieces to wear. Soft. Light weight. But still provides some warmth. Big fan.

Distance Long Sleeve
Fit and feel of the fabric feel nice. It's a very light material and helped with wicking away sweat. Black is always a good color and the contrast with neon is cool and not too much of it.

Unexpectedly Comfortable
As an occasional runner, I've never used a training shirt for running before, so I was a little skeptical that I needed one. However, after giving this shirt a try, I'm hooked. It is very comfortable, it fits well, and it looks good. The most surprising part was that the material is incredibly breathable. I was not expecting that at all. It's so comfortable that I've been wearing it even when I'm not running. If you're on the fence about giving this a try, I highly recommend it for its versatility and its feel.
