Try it - wow factor!
I tried this shoe at another store. I walked on different floorings- wood, tile & track. The cushion is a wow and it is a very stable shoe as the Hoka- speedgoat5. But this feels so much better for toe’s room. I want to buy another shoe.

This is an underrated, excellent running shoe.
This is an underrated, excellent running shoe in my experience. Read/watched a lot of reviews where they talked about it being a walking or easy run shoe, but for me, it worked very well, not only for easy runs but also for up-tempo paces. There is something special in the midsole that gives superb energy return and keeps a solid running form. It also helped me with plantar fasciitis. The midsole is not overly soft for a muddy feeling and helps maintain stability. Already in for v3 when the current shoe flattens out. Sizing/Fit is bang on target. Well done, Brooks.

Brooks Ghost Max 2
Right out of the box, the fit felt dialed in—true to size with a generous toe box that lets your feet breathe and splay naturally. The first thing I noticed during my runs was the plush ride, thanks to the DNA Loft v3 foam. It’s soft without being mushy and offers just enough responsiveness to keep things feeling smooth and energized.

Life changing for me
I ordered the extra wide size 6.
I'm a 35yo woman with congenitally short achilles tendons. (yes, a woman. I'll explain why I bought men's shoes further down).
I was told as a child I could have tendon lengthening surgery, but my mum didn't want to do it. So I've suffered ever since. Finding comfy shoes has always been a nightmare. I have bad plantar fasciitis and lots of ankle and knee pain. My feet are also mega wide in the toe box area.
I recently signed up for an 8 week transformation challenge with a local personal trainer, and am supposed to get 10k steps in every day. I researched and researched, and have tried 3 different pairs of raved-about shoes before these. And they all had me limping by the time I got home from my walk.
Let me tell you, these shoes, I received them this morning and went out for a steady short walk to see how they felt, fully expecting pain. But nope! They are like walking on clouds. I had ZERO PAIN in my feet for the first time in my whole life. I almost cried happy tears. I went back out and walked the remainder of my 10k steps and I felt like I could've walked for miles and miles. I kissed the box they came in when I got home.

great shoe at a great price
After using this shoe for 2 months running and walking indoors it is a very comfortable light weight shoe that fits well and gives great foot support. The thick firm sole makes running comfortable with no aches and pains afterwards. I would definitely recommend this shoe for runners.

Great shoe!!! Very comfortable and light weight. Great extra cushion. I have 24 pair of Brooks shoes and these are becoming my favorite. I don’t have any negatives to write on this shoe. I continue to enjoy the other styles. For example I have Trace , Adrenalines, Ghosts , glycerine 21, and 22 and now 5 pair of ghost max. Looking forward to new styles. I’m happy to try any new styles in complimentary basis.
