What is a Brooks GTS shoe?

Did you know that “GTS” stands for, “Go-to support?” We add the GTS label on all Brooks running shoes with Guiderails Support. This means that these shoes contain support technology that keeps your natural movement in a safe range so you can run with more comfort and less pain.

How do I know if a GTS shoe is right for me?

For half of all runners, their movements off the run and on the run are in sync — we call them “Neutral” runners. Those who deviate from that baseline are called “Support” runners. If you are a support runner, you will enjoy the benefits of a shoe with “Go-to support.” Not sure what type of runner you are? Try our Shoe Finder Quiz which will help you learn more.

Why is my favorite shoe name changing, like the Ravenna and the Transcend? Are they coming back?

These well-loved support shoes aren’t going anywhere; we just call them something different now! You can find the energized, yet supportive experience of the Ravenna in the Launch GTS. You can experience the plush, supportive cushioning of the Transcend in the Glycerin GTS.

Which shoes have GTS in them?

Some of our most loved shoes have go-to support, like the Adrenaline GTS. Explore and shop our support shoes here.

Not sure what shoe is right for you? Try our Shoe Finder or try a running store to try on a pair of Brooks in person.
