What are the best Brooks shoes for high arches?
We offer plenty of running shoes for high arch profiles.
How do you know if you have high arches or not?
If you see little of your footprint, you most likely have high arches. If you are not sure if you have high arches or not, we recommend visiting a local running shop and having your feet analyzed by a Fit Expert. They will be able to recommend options accordingly.
What kind of support do I need for my high arches?
We offer plenty of running shoes for high arches. Shoe styles in our inventory are split into 2 sections, neutral and support. The support in running shoes is different than the support of insoles or orthotics. Our support styles include our GuideRails technology, which supports your whole body in its natural stride while keeping excess movement in check. If you need support directly under your arch, our sock-liners are removable so that you can input your own insole or orthotic to achieve personalized arch support. If you are not sure if you need the support from our GuideRails or from an insole, we recommend visiting a local running shop and having your feet and gait analyzed by a Fit Expert.
Why does my foot fall asleep or ache as I am running?
As we run, our feet tend to swell and aching may result with this issue. This may be due to not having enough volume within the shoe. We recommend the Straight Bar lacing technique or go up half a size. If the lacing technique or the size adjustment does not work, we recommend using our Shoe Finder to find the shoes that work best for you.
