Brooks Beasts Track Club

Brannon Kidder

Brannon had a breakout year in 2019 running PRs in the 800m and 1,500m and making Team USA for the IAAF World Championships. He also ran the fastest split when the Brooks Beasts set the World Record for the 4 x 1-mile indoor race at the Dr. Sanders Invitational in New York City in 2019. And he’s only just getting started.

Lightning round

  • On the playground or racing the warm-up lap at football practice as a kid; I joined the track team at the first opportunity — 7th grade for me.

  • My favourite runs are the cool downs following a track meet. I love how quickly runners are able to flip the switch from competition to camaraderie.

  • I’ve been fortunate to travel to NYC, Belgium, Germany, Croatia, and Qatar — all because of running.
