Brooks has let me down. I still remember finding their new sports bras in a mall Hibbetts in circa 2011. As a 32DD I had FINALLY found something I could run in. At the time they were on sale, but as the price jacked up I would pay more and more for the only bra that worked for me.
The last 1-2 I bought were lower quality and cheaper material, making me irritated that I have gone from paying $15 to paying $60 over time. But this one finally just would not work at all. The quality is lower than an off brand bra I got on a Dick’s clearance rack. It has stitching on the straps that scrape my shoulder blades, as a thinner framed person. The fabric is thin: I got white and it looks like it is not even lined. I would not be able to wear it alone with shorts and a jacket.
And the worst part is functionality. The whole point of me going to the trouble to order this from a reputable running brand, rather than just picking one up in a store, is so that it would work well for me in high impact cardio. No such thing. I went to one Zumba class, and it just did not work for high impact.. which it literally is labeled for 🙄 just an absolute disappointment. Ugh they don’t make em like they used to.

Hand washing is ideal, but not always possible. Fasten all hooks and straps, place in a lingerie bag, and use the gentle or delicate cycle. Always line dry, and never use dryer sheets or fabric softeners—they can clog the fabric and shorten the life of the bra.

Great sports bra with one design flaw
Comfortable, but I’m giving 4 stars because the hook in back does not stay hooked. First time I wore this bra, I had to reconnect the straps at least 10 times in an hour! I kept the bra because I have such a hard time finding sports bras that fit me well and this one is perfect I’m that regard. I used some pliers to tighten the hook and that has helped somewhat. If rate the bra support as moderate.

2.0 is a downgrade
This bra was chafing me on a bike ride. Can only imagine how awful it would be running. 2.0 is not an improvement. The previous version was better.

10000% Recommend for Runners
This is the only bra I want to run in! I feel like it holds me in place without sacrificing comfort. The clasp in the back can come undone with intense movement, but with or without the clasp it provides amazing support.

Not the same support
Sizing is not the same as original. Doesn’t feel as secure, and the hook on the back irritates my skin. Hope the original doesn’t get discontinued or I’m out of a reliable bra.

This did not work for me. The style cuts in on the sides, so it did not provide full coverage on the sides. And it's not very sturdy and has no structure to it.

Too much bounce for 38DD
The adjustable length of the Convertible 2.0 straps are too short to tighten them enough to prevent bouncing when running for a 38DD, but I like the wider straps. This bra does convert to a racerback style and provides enough support for tennis, pickleball and volleyball, so I will keep it. It would probably be fine for smaller breasted gals, but sadly not enough running support for my 38DD’s.
Dear Brooks: PLEASE bring back your former velcro adjustable strap style running bras. They were my all-time favorite and I ran in them for over 20 years !

Improved coverage over the original version
Much better coverage than the 1.0 version. With the 2.0, there's no risk of my boobs shifting and wanting to pop out after a little weight gain when I'm doing burpees or mountain climbers. I'm a little disappointed by how much this bra makes my back flab bulge out the back/sides of the bra, but since it covers better overall, I still like it. I feel locked in when running or jumping.

Works with a modification
I’ve been looking for a bra similar to the Fiona bras that includes an elastic band so it won’t stretch out and this is close. However, the racer back attachment causes irritation / red marks when unhooked. I use medical tape around those clasps to save my skin. It would be great to make this bra without the convertible clasps. I use this for daily wear.
