I'm happy with the 21. The 22 is Very comfortable and cushioning/ rebound is obvious. They might be great for a stronger/ younger person.
I found them hard on my legs and achilles tendon due to the softness. I had to return them.

Well pleased!
I’ve had mine about two months now. The feel when standing on them was different from other shoes I’ve owned, but I quickly got used to the feel.
This is my first pair of Brooks I’ve owned and I have enjoyed them. I suffer from gout and I’m hoping these will help in day to day use and keep my feet from hurting!😊

Definitely an upgrade from the 21.
I originally bought a pair of Glycerin 21, and immediately had a heel slip issue, we tried different sizes thinking we measured wrong and nope, same issue. Every step I took my heel was coming out of the shoe and it quickly started to wear down the back.
We moved to the 21 StealthFit. Definitely an improvement from the Glycerin 21, but the upper mesh had little give and a tendency to become tight and rub the top of the foot raw. Loosening the laces and stretching them didn't seem to help much, if at all.
So far the Glycerin 22 are a significant improvement. They've combined the seamless fit and the comfort fit, which was necessary to fix the heel slip of the Glycerin 21 and the unforgiving tight mesh upper of the 21 StealthFit.
As for overall cushion and comfort, the springback of the nitrogen infused outsoles and the padding of the heel are what sold it for me. I have a bad habit of putting most of my weight on my heels, and the midsole drop forces me to walk slightly more on my toes while still providing the impact absorption for my heels. It has improved my posture as well as my gait, and eliminated quite a bit of pain from my knees and lower back.
I will say they do run a bit small so I would take caution with what size you choose and find somewhere to try a pair first. I traditionally where a size 9 in most shoes, 9.5 in Brooks, but had to move up to 10 for this pair.

Men's Glycerin 22 - The best shoe for my daily walks and runs
These have been the best fit and comfort level I have experience in a Brooks running show. I supinate and my shoes tend to lose their shape and look like 2 bananas but that has not been the case whatsoever with the Glycerin 22's. I have now used them for 4 weeks and these give me the most stable running and walking experience with no fear of my ankles bending or messing my feet in any other way. I think this will be my go-to shoe from now on.

Plush 22’s
This is my 4th pair of the Glycerin starting with the 17. The model keeps getting better. They feel plush when I’m running. There is no discomfort. These shoes save wear and tear of my feet and legs

Brooks Glycerine 22 Review
I've been running in Glycerine's for the past decade. The 22's are the best fitting so far, and that's not a reflection on prior versions, just a noticeable step forward. The hooks on the back are new additions and have found myself using these.

I am a long time Hoka loyalist as their Bondi model was the most comfortable shoe I found for a big guy like me. Recently I needed to replace a pair of my Hokas and did some online research. The Glycerin 22 kept coming up as the best shoe for larger runners. I decided to try them out and am glad I did. These shoes have it all over the Hokas I was so loyal to for years. Lighter, more comfortable and easier on my feet, legs and back during longer workouts they’re an absolute delight. I’m never going back to my old brand, that’s for sure.

Very Comfortable
Fantastic comfort once I found the size for me. I’ve worn Glycerin since 2012. My size for over 10 years has always been 10.5 Wide. I had to get 10 Extra Wide in these which severely limited my color options. Even in Wide you get Black, Black/White, Gray/Black. In Extra Wide you get Gray/Black as the only option which truly stinks. New Balance has 4-5 color options for wide feet but Brooks, the most popular shoe in the country, can only give us black. I’ve asked for years and years to give us more options but they haven’t. Anyway, once I got my size I’ve been very happy. Very nice cushion for an easy recovery kind of run. Slightly heavy but not overly. The heel has to be my favorite update in this shoe along with the responsive cushioning.
