Run Visible Jacket 2.0

This jacket is perfect on a windy day. It totally protects you from feeling the wind but is also super light weight. No restriction of movement. The best part is the hood stays in place. Tried it in the rain. Helps a little bit but it is not waterproof. Maybe that will be my next Brooks purchase. I'm short, and I find that it fits perfectly, but the sleeves are quite long. Good to cover your hands if you want, but I just fold them back.

I really liked the Run Visible Jacket 2.0 from Brooks. It was lightweight and breathable (without feeling too stiff and loud) in addition to being comfortable. It really moves with your body. The quality seems nice and like it will hold up. Although it is very thin fabric so I won’t know until longer use.

I haven’t washed it yet, but it did have extra care instructions to help prevent color transfer. Hopefully that doesn’t happen.

The fit was nice and I liked how long it was. Often times jackets don’t seem to be quite long enough for me. I am 5’8”, 130 lbs. and got a medium. There is a little extra length in the sleeve for the ability to move your arms when running.

The reflective fabric was very noticeable at dawn/dusk and makes me feel a lot safer when out on the streets in my neighborhood. I have even been using these when on walks with my kids in a stroller because I feel more visible.

Extra bonus that you can tuck your hood in and that it is water repellant for a little added protection.

I can’t really fault it in any way - great running jacket. Another great product from Brooks!

This jacket fits my petite frame perfectly and is so light and airy. The orange isn’t too bright where it leaves you blinded. I would love a little more black on it and maybe one with turquoise that would look better with my complexion. I’ve been wearing it while riding my bike with my family. Tonight was about 75 degrees and it was so comfortable.

The Brooks Run Visible Jacket is a great running jacket. I have never owned a running jacket before, but this is a great item that I can't imagine not having now! The fabric is really soft and so light and comfortable. It feels like I'm wearing an athletic shirt. The fit of the jacket is nice and snug, but not too tight as to be uncomfortable. A normal rain jacket is much heavier, bulkier, and stiffer which would be very unpleasant to wear while running. This jacket moves with you such that you almost don't know it's there. I don't usually run in inclement weather, but with this jacket I did. I wore this jacket in a light rain, and it kept me dry and comfortable. The fabric is so light and thin that it doesn't make me as hot as a normal rain jacket would. I find that the hood is very snug and uncomfortable to wear with a ponytail. The hood doesn't cover my forehead as it only goes to the edge of my hairline. It wouldn't provide any rain protection for my face. I don't foresee myself ever wearing it because I would prefer a hat to keep my face protected. The hood does rollup and snap out of the way very nicely which is a great feature, so it doesn't add any noticeable weight or bulk. I sometimes run early in the morning when it is still getting light out and I always run on the street, so this jacket definitely makes me feel safer because of the high visibility color. I find this jacket useful to use on brisk mornings because it provides a little warmth without any bulk! The best part is when I get hot and take it off, I can tie it around my waist, and I don't even notice any added weight. I really don't like feeling like I'm being dragged down by added weight when running so this jacket really surprised me by how light weight it is. I like how the sleeves go slightly over the top of my hands on the top side of my hand. I like the pockets including the extra small tight inner pocket on the right side which would securely hold my air pods. I also like the fact that both of the pockets have zipper closures. Overall, I really liked this jacket. It is a game changer in my running routine due to its comfortable fit, lightweight fabric, and high visibility features. It never would have crossed my mind that a running jacket would be useful to have and now I find myself putting it on more than I ever thought I would. It makes me want to go buy a pair of waterproof gym shoes so I can do more running in the rain!

This jacket is perfect for making sure I am visible during runs. It fits true to size, is comfortable, lightweight, and easy to run in. I got the medium and I would say that it fits like a true medium (a mostly fitted feel, with only slight room), not oversized at all. If you prefer your jackets to have a looser fit, you will want to size up. I currently (in the summer) mainly wear it during early morning and evening runs (when the sun isn't fully out), as well as when I am running during the day in busy areas. The design is attractive and comfortable. The colors are very bright and vibrant, which serves the purpose of being visible, while still looking stylish. The fabric is semi-breathable, but when it is the middle of the day in the summer, it is a bit too hot to wear. I find it more comfortable to wear in the early morning and evenings when the sun isn't fully out. This jacket is perfect for fall, winter, and spring at any time of day. Overall I really love this jacket and wear it multiple times per week.

This is more of a fitted jacket good for a drizzly outdoor run and perfect for the golf course to stash with your clubs. I wish it was a bit looser, but for a fit look, I loved the colors especially the reflective coating perfect for running on the road avoiding cars.

This Brooks running jacket is very stylish, cute, and functional. A few things I love about it are, one, the bright fluorescent color! The orange, white, and black look so good together. The bright colors are perfect for sidewalk, off-road, and wooded area runs. I definitely stand out in this reflective jacket! I thought it was a very cool collaboration with Scotchlight. I also really love all the bells and whistles that are tucked into it. I have never seen a jacket with fitted sleeves until now. They don't slide over my hands or get in the way, they are so perfect. The little reflective spots all over the jacket give me peace of mind that I am being seen and am safe. The zipper works great, and the backup buttons are great for extra windy or rainy days.
Pockets are a must during a run, and these hold my phone and keys perfectly. They are very sturdy and a nice size. I like that the hood zips up if you don't want to wear it or have it out. Lastly, the material is comfortable and the jacket fits so well. I love the length of it. It is really going to be the perfect everyday jacket this fall.

This running jacket is amazing. It was definitely made for runners. The fit is perfect and allows enough room without being too loose or too restrictive. While running, I can really move freely in this jacket. It feels incredibly soft and comfortable to wear while running. It is super lightweight and barely feels like I am wearing a jacket.

The jacket offers several features that are perfect for runners in all kinds of weather. There are several reflective spots on the jacket to help keep you safe and seen by drivers. The colors are also vibrant making it safer when running. It has pockets on the front with zippers. It has a light packable hood that folds up and stores away if you don't need it. The hood is so light that I just leave it out.

The fabric on this jacket is super thin and light. It can easily fit over your top without adding extra heat. It is breathable and does not cause me to overheat while running. It does a great job at protecting from the wind. It repels the rain during runs, too! This jacket is so easy to wear and allows me to get out on the pavement even in a little rain or wind.

This running jacket is very comfortable and I love that it can be packed up and easily stored or pulled out while on a run. It allows for good air circulation without causing overheating yet still protects me from the wind and rain. The only thing I would change is that the fabric makes a slight sound during movement. I'm sure it has something to do with the fabric repelling water.

The Brooks Run Visible Jacket 2.0 helps make runs and time outdoors safer and more comfortable. I like to do runs and walks outside but often gravitate to darker clothing and need something easy to throw on so I can be seen by cars and other people. The jacket is bright and has several reflective strips throughout, so it is visible both at night and during the day. I found the sizing to be true to size and have enough room for layering but not so much to be bulky. The fabric is lightweight so it folds up pretty small and does not add much weight to a waistpack or backpack. One downside of the fabric is that it is quite transparent. You can see from the outside the sizing and logo that is printed on the back of the inside of the jacket. I appreciate that even though the jacket is composed of many bright neon orange colors, it is well designed and does not look like a typical safety hazard jacket. The hood folds up and is held together by a snap button when packed up, so it makes it really easy to undo the hood with one hand when needed without having to take it off or ask someone else to help. I always prefer zippered pockets so that things are kept safe and contained. This jacket has two pretty large zipper pockets and usefully one pocket has a little compartment that can be used for a key or some cash. I found that it does a decent job of blocking out wind and light rain. The seams of the jacket are flat and don’t cause any irritation. If I could change one thing about this jacket, I would have some sun protection qualities. I tried to wear this to run in on a sunny day and realized that I would have to put on sunblock or a protective long sleeve underneath if I wanted sun protection. Overall, this is a great multi-use jacket for high visibility and protection from elements but does lack proper sun protection.
